Happy 30th Birthday Josh

Josh had his Birthday while we were in Montrose. We went up to the Ouray hot springs, went to movie, and had a little party. I really did Marry a wonderful Man. He couldn't be a better a father or more loyal to his family. The best part was he actually liked the picture I got him of the Sacred Grove. We wont be making any returns this year! Happy Birthday Josh, I love you and all that you do for our family.

Fun at Prama Holly's

We went to Prama Holly's for a week after easter. It was great fun. Mommy went a little over board on the bubbles in Grandma's bath. It was so funny to watch the kids play in it. I couldn't stop laughing. The kids LOVE it in Montrose and so do I. Gotta love the Colorado Sunshine and Grandparents.

Easter

I love Easter and I loved that General Conference was on Easter this year. It made it very special. Our wonderful Grandma Holly Came to spend the weekend with us.

A family in our town puts on an Easter Egg hunt for the community. It was wonderful. Here are some pics.
I have a testimony of our savior and his atoning sacrifice. The atonement is real, the Resurrection is real. Easter is such a wonderful time to focus on Christ. I am amazed at how pure and perfect the gospel is. It just makes sense :)
I have a link of our General Conference at the bottom of this post. We get to hear from our modern day Prophet and his apostles. I look forward to this time of the year because I gain so much from the talks. They always make we want to strive to be a better person. I hope people will take the time to better understand the Mormon religion and form an opinion based on truths. There are so many crazy and false things said out their about my religion. This will be a reliable source I promise :)http://www.lds.org/conference/sessions/display/0,5239,23-1-1207,00.html

Sondra and Joe Joe

Sondra and Joey came to visit for their spring break and it was a blast! The trip couldn't of gone better and we are so grateful we got to spend time together. It is safe to say Liam and Joey are both all boy. I am not sure which one is louder or more active. The two together were pretty funny. They knew how to play like boys play and also fight like boys fight. I walked in and Liam had shoved Joey against the wall followed by Joey throwing Liam on the floor. Their faces when they saw me was hillarious. BUSTED! They also let it go like boys do and started playing minutes later. We went up to Temple Square, Pirate Island, Bean Musuem and Jumping Jacks. It was sooo much fun!

Newest Member of The Family

No, we aren't having another child. Yes, we got a cat which we are loving to pieces. Cats are soooo much easier then dogs. Layla's allergies seem to be fine as long as her face doesn't touch the cat. The kids are in heaven. Liam adores the cat (he can't keep his hands off her) and he is soooo sweet to her. Layla just laughs and loves having the cat chase a string. The kitty really feels like a member of the family. I am happy we got her. The cats name is Panther.

St. George with Prama Holly

We had the opportunity to go to St. George with Grandma Holly. We had so much fun even though the weather wasn't what we hoped... We took the kids to some little sand dunes which they loved. It was so nice to get away for a few days and even nicer to get to spend time with my Mom!

Life at home...

Liam makes this Pirate all on his own daily. I would like you to notice the peg leg, sword, hook, and one eye.
Liam hard at work with his snapping blocks!

Laim is slowing moving away from pirates and into this character (it's a coon hat not a wig).
Layla and her Tutu. We put it on and she started walking on her toes. It was so funny. She will also twirl in a circle. She also has been walking around with a purse lately. I love having a little girl!
We took Layla to Cabella's and this is the face she made every time she saw a bear.

We Loved our Visitors!

This picture made me laugh. This is her face all the time. Just as happy as can be.
Hanging out with Summer is like hanging out with my sisters. I laugh a lot and it is always uplifting!
Maci was sooo patient with Liam and his love for pirates. She is such a sweet heart!!!

Layla finally had some girl toys to play with!
The Bell Family (Josh's sisters family) came to visit us this month and we loved it. It went by way to quick for two reasons, we loved hanging out with them and they were only here one full day. I had a blast laughing and visiting with Summer, Jared and Josh giggled like little girls the whole time (they were so excited to see each other), Maci is the most obedient little girl I have been around and is soooo darling. As for Paige, she is a CRACK UP!!! Summer and Jared have the funniest kids. It was so thoughtful of them to drive out here. We hope to see them again soon for some more hang time!!!

February Happenings

Liam pretending to be Layla. He was right on.
If Layla was an outfit it would be this one

It is safe to say February flew by! We had some wonderful visitors, The Davis family. What amazing people! Josh and I spoke in church. He did a wonderful job. He has a gift when it come to understanding the gospel. I hate to say that though because he also studies books, scriptures, etc. to help that gift blossom. I was truely touched by the things he prepared. I really lucked out marrying that guy.
Liam keeps us laughing and is full of life. Liam wouldn't call me Mom one day just "Person". He is enjoying primary and loving life as usual.
Layla really has become an easy toddler. I earned it! She throws her regular tantrum but for the most she loves to cuddle doesn't make a mess, goes to bed easy etc. She was a harder baby then Liam but an easier toddler. I wonder if that is how it works.
