I thought this was cute. My favorite would be Eliches and Casa Bonita.
You're from Colorado if You'll eat ice cream in the winter.
When the weather report says it's going to be 65 degrees, you shave your legs and wear a skirt.
It snows 5 inches and you don't expect school to be canceled.
You'll wear flip flops every day of the year, regardless of temperature.
You have no accent at all, but can hear other people's. And then you make fun of them.
'Humid' is over 25%.
Your sense of direction is: Toward the mountains and Away from the mountains.
You say 'the interstate' and everybody knows which one.
You think that May is a totally normal month for a blizzard.
You buy your flowers to set out on Mother's day, but try and hold off planting them until just before Father's day.
You grew up planning your Halloween costumes around your coat.
You know what the Continental Divide is.
You don't think Coors beer is that big a deal.
You went to Casa Bonita as a kid, and as an adult.
You've gone off-roading in a vehicle that was never intended for such activities.
You always know the elevation of where you are.
You wake up to a beautiful, 80 degree day and you wonder if it's going to snow tomorrow.
**You don't care that some company renamed it, the Broncos still play at Mile High**
Every movie theater has military and student discounts.
Everybody wears jeans to church.
You actually know that ** South Park ** is a real place not just a show on TV.
You know what a 'trust fund hippy' is, and you know its natural habitat is Boulder
You know you're talking to a fellow Coloradoan when they call it Elitches, not Six Flags.
A bear on your front porch doesn't bother you.
Your two favorite teams are the Broncos and whoever is beating the crap out of the Raiders.
When people out East tell you they have mountains in their state too, you just laugh.
You go anywhere else on the planet and the air feels 'sticky' and you notice the sky is no longer blue.

Our Family Camping
For our Monday night family night we got a motor home and went camping. Liam loved it way more then I would of thought. We made smores, ate tin foil dinners, and did my kind of camping (in a motor home) on a comfy bed. He spent the last hour prior to bed running around jumping, and acting like a bear. Liam was not a happy camper when it was time to leave. It was so cute. I love making memories.

Demolition Derby
We took Liam to the Demolition Derby last Saturday. He loved it! Thanks Mindyn and Brian for the invite. It was so much fun. To my surprise I also loved it. The crowd was a bit rough and it kept POORING rain off and on which made it last longer then planned. I guess it just added to the night. I love summers in Utah there is so much to do!
You are lucky to see this picture. My pregnancy puff is very obvious (cheeks). It will all be worth it.

Marcie?!?!
We watched Liam's friend Kathryn the other day. She talks very well for her age. She calls me, "Marcie" all of the time. Well, this morning Liam woke up and is calling me, "Rcie". Funny or not so funny?

Gone Fish'n

Josh had the opportunity to go fishing with my Dad and his friend in Lake Powell. To my surprise Josh loved it. They fished for stripers and apparently you see the school of fish all gather at the top of the water, you speed the boat over there and cast right in the middle. Josh caught three big ones! I am happy he was able to go and enjoy himself. Thanks for the invite Dad! Josh had a blast.
Josh wasn't supposed to get home until Sunday sometime but luckily he got in at around 2am Saturday night. We sure needed him because the next morning I was soooo sick. I have never thrown up so much in my life (NO JOKE!). It started around 8am and by 11am I went and got an IV because I had thrown up so much I was worried for the baby. I am not sure that the IV accomplished anything because I am pretty sure I threw it up as well on our way home. Josh took such good care of Liam and then around 4pm Liam threw up. Thank goodness Liam didn't get it as bad as me. Later that evening my Dad came over and gave Liam and I a blessing with Josh. It was very nice and I started feeling better after that. I am so grateful for the power of the Priesthood and to have it in my life. This is the second time during this pregnancy we have utilized it and it has help heal me or bring me comfort. It is a wonderful thing. Thanks Josh and Dad. We are doing much better. Thank you Josh for all your help with Liam yesterday so I could rest. LOVE YOU!!!
