Tie The Knot

We couldn't be happier, My Dad and Denise are engaged! She is the perfect, she is so beautiful, she is sweet, she is giving, the kids LOVE her, she is easy going and full of common sense. They love each other for the right reasons.Things just feel natural and relaxed with her. We can't wait for the details :) We love you Denise!!!

This is Layla's face when I told her my Dad and Denise were getting married. I think I had a similar.

Corning's Come to Park City

Chris (he is in 6th grade, amazing)
My cousin and his family flew in from Denver for a snowboarding competition in Park City. Brook and Laura's son Chris is quite the super star. We are so grateful we were able to go and meet up with them. I am convinced Chris will be my claim to fame one day. They are such wonderful people and I feel blessed to call them family.

Life As A Five Year Old

We did this for Liam's Valentine. We stuck a real succor in his hand and wrote Happy Valentines Day. It turned out ok. The picture looked kind of green and it only printed Valentines Day. He loved it though. As he does everything. No complaints. Liam is now all done with wrestling. He is such a trooper. He doesn't have much of a competitive streak. Just like his Mom. It is more social. We got a book the other day from the library about being healthy. It was pretty detailed perhaps to detailed. He asked if he could do my work out video. I said sure. Thinking he would do it for 5 minutes. He did the full 30. I said wow Liam great job. He then said. "Now I wont die. Mom you need to do it too." Hmmm.... not sure what to say. Whenever I make something to eat he asks if it said it was healthy in the book. Josh and I are pretty sure we need to sign him up for an institute class because of the deep questions he always asks. He loves the puppy and she loves him. I love how he crawls into bed each morning with us. I love how he prays for everyone especially those who are having a hard time. I love when he slides on his knees and says, "At your service!". I love how much time he puts into being creative. He loves to draw and make things. He loves his Lego's. He loves his sister. He has started sounding out words and writing things to people. You can understand about half of what he has figured out. He has memorized the first two articles of faith and almost has the third down. How blessed I am to have the children I have. I savor every moment. I am so thankful I am at home to be see each and every one. Love you Liam!

Layla Dee LOVING Three

Layla is very into being older and bigger. Daily we hear, "Look how big I am getting!". Don't you dare call her a little girl. She will correct you immediately. She can't wait for baby Londyn to be born because she is going to be bigger then Londyn. Also, don't mistaken her for a two year old. She will be very offended. She can't wait to be as big as her Mom. She told me the other day I look like big foot. Because I have the same eyes, nose and mouth as HIM. I get it... I have long stringy hair and there is no denying I have long hands and feet. That has only happened once the rest of the time she says I look like a princess and tinkerbell.
She pretty much doesn't like to eat anything. If you offer something she will say, "NO, I don't like that!" or if you think you are offering her something she will like she often says, "I like that sometimes, but not all the time!". She has her mind made up. I love this about her. She likes to do everything all by herself or as she says, "No, I can do it all by my own self!". She loves our animals. I love seeing her cuddle up them. She likes Panther a lot and Bessie a little. I am pretty sure Bessie has placed herself above Layla in our house hold. It is hilarious and Layla thinks it is funny. I have had the opportunity to sub in her Sunbeam class at church. I am so proud of her. She sits very still and is so obedient. Her teachers tell me how well behaved she is and how focused. It is true. You would have no idea she is the youngest in the primary set aside from her size. She loves her Daddy and loves to do things just with the "grils". She still has no interest in princesses or barbies but loves animals just like her Mom. I couldn't be prouder of Layla. I love hearing her sing any song that comes to her head. She has been my little buddy lately and I am loving it. She loves to help me clean. She is an expert at folding towels and washing windows. I love when she crawls up next to me and cuddles. I love when she gives kitty kisses. I love how she still twirls her hair. I love putting "fairy dust" on her before she goes to bed. She is such a special little girl. I love you sweet Layla!

Birthday, Birthday

There was something special about this birthday. I can't quite put my finger on it. All day I couldn't stop smiling because I felt so much gratitude for all of my blessings. I love my family and friends. I went to lunch with some of my dearest friends. The picture didn't turn out at all but hey... you get the idea. Thank you Brooke for putting that together. It really meant a lot. April then made one of her delicious dinners. Josh got a ice cream cake and we all just hung out as a family. Once we put all the kids to bed we did ear candles (don't work) but it was fun. Watched some shows and visited.
It was a good year. I picture this time last year. I remember us being so worried about what Josh would do for work. Then on my Birthday weekend (2011) he found out he got a job with Adobe. I slowly started getting answers to my health and by the summer I was back to normal. I have my sister and her kids near, although I wish it was under different circumstances what a blessing it has been to have her and her children so close. Something about a sisterly bond (I miss you TARA). I am healthy and carrying a baby girl I am totally anxious to meet. I feel like I am surrounded by such wonderful people who make me want to be better. They have hearts of gold. My kids are healthy and mean the world to me. Josh is a great husband and father. I have a cute, cute, cute puppy, and more then anything I have my testimony. I know life is full of highs and lows. You never know what is around the corner. I don't know why I am so lucky to be where I am and to have the life I have. I don't want to take it for granted. It is a true blessing. To top it all off I am so excited to meet this sweet little girl. This pregnancy was pretty rough at first but I have been a lot more comfortable the second trimester approaching the third then with my other two. Thank you everyone for making this Birthday so special. Love you all!

Pearly Whites

We did it. Well, kind of... At least some people in our family finally went to the dentist (gross I know). I plan on going as soon as we have our sweet little Londyn. The kids were troopers and LOVED it. Liam has to go back to get a cavity filled Layla is good to go. Layla takes the directions from the dentists to brush her teeth morning and night very seriously. The other night we forgot to brush her teeth she was just about asleep and said wait I didn't brush my teeth. I told her we would do a good job in the morning and to go back to sleep. She then jumped out of bed and said, "But the Dentist said morning and night!". So we brushed them and she pointed out how much her teeth sparkle. Liam was mostly excited about the prize at the end. There was something so darling about their tiny body lying in the giant chair. I couldn't stop smiling. I am so lucky!

Grandpa and Bryce

Bryce sure does love his Grandpa. The second Grandpa walks in the door Bryce grabs his finger and takes him everywhere. Grandpa has a way with understanding our sweet little Bryce. I am so grateful Bryce has that relationship him and has him as a role model. Look, Bryce will even cuddle with him.
