Walt Disney World

We loved our trip to Walt Disney World. This is our third time going since we have been married and this was by far the best trip yet. Liam took things in so much more then I thought he would. He loved the Mickey Mouse Playhouse Show, "Ride the big ball" (epcot center), the fish play with "bubbles", and the bug movie. He also enjoyed the Lion King show but fell asleep the last 5 minutes even throught all the drums, singing and clapping. We are so grateful for opportunities to do things like this. We feel so fortunate and even though we moved super slow with a toddler and pregnant woman it was our most enjoyable trip yet. Liam was such a GOOD boy. Getting him to sleep since the trip has been interesting... It was all worth it. Thanks Dad for the Hotel! We loved every minute. The hotel was just as good as the parks!

Great Potty News

We have done it and I really think it was on purpose. Liam was in the bath and stood up really quick and said, "Mommy Poop". We have been talking a lot lately to him about the big boy potty. I wasn't sure if he was grasping. I set him on the toilet and sure enough he went 1 and 2. He was so EXCITED. He flushed the toilet and clapped for himself. He used it two other times that day. Good job Liam. This might be bad parenting but I am not going to push the whole potty thing for a few weeks because we are going to Walt Disney World next week and I just don't think it will be possible to help him while we are visiting the theme parks, or maybe we will be stuck in our rooms because of a hurricane and it would be a perfect time. I hope he doesn't forget. If he asks I will take him but if not, we wont push it. Great Job Liam! You are turning into such a big boy.

Auntie and Taryn's visit

We had so much fun with Auntie Tara and baby Taryn. We did a whole lot of nothing, which is always the best. Liam LOVES his Auntie and tried so hard to be "nice" and "soft" with Taryn. For those of you who know Liam you realize what a big deal it is for him to be soft with anyone. He enjoys telling Josh and I throughout the day who he wants to tackle. He is being dead serious. We are trying to help him realize that he only tackles Daddy and his Uncle's. Hopefully soon we grasp on to the concept. Sorry Katherine and Austin (Liam two best toddler friends) you get the bad end of the deal. We are working on it.
Liam still talks about their visit and he loved playing with Auntie Tara. She was a great help and was able to do a lot more with him then I can at this point of my pregnancy. I think Liam and Taryn look the most alike out of all of his cousins. Especially when you look at Liam’s 7-month pictures. They could be brother and sister. Thanks for the visit. We hope to see you again SOON!!!
Tara has a cute video on her blog of the two playing. You can get to by clicking on, Steve and Tara under my Friends and Family.

Gymnastics

I have LOVED taking Liam to gymnastics. It is so good for his motor skills and he loves it. It is Mom and Tot. It's safe to say he won't be a gymnast, he is the tallest in the class and the youngest. Josh is going to go with him one time. They would have a blast together and it would be easier for Josh to do the lifting. We took Liam to the doctor a few days ago and he is just shy of 31 pounds at 20 months. What a big boy. We sure do love him. He is talking in sentences now and has a great sense of humor. He loves to try and make us laugh. It always works!
