SCHOOL?!?!?

As mentioned earlier I was a little sad to see my little guy go off to school. But that all changed to excitement when I found out he got into Reagan Academy (a charter school). School had already started a few days prior so things were so rushed and I was so excited to have the opportunity it ended up being nothing but a happy experience for everyone. Here he is in uniform ready to go.

T-Ball

They start off the season with a parade
Liam loved T-ball. He was great at doing a "flip" into third base. He was also very good and running to the ball even if someone else had it. If you have ever wanted to see a ninja play t-ball you should watch Liam. He also loved to say he was a heavy hitter. Can't wait for next year. Liam and Layla will be on the same team!

Love Em!

Having fun before church and then we were late... I want a nice camera, like really nice. Is that selfish? Ohh well, I still want/need one :)

Auntie Elaine

My Aunt Elaine came to visit. I looked forward to it from the second I found out she was coming. She is amazing. I love and respect her like a Mom. The kids LOVED their Grandma Elaine and Bessie did as well. She is an amazing woman. Love you Grandma Elaine!

Liam's Busy Week

Liam started out his week by getting 9 stitches. He ran right into the corner of the stair rail as he was running out the door to a birthday party. Thankfully my wonderful neighbor and friend pointed out he was certainly going to need stitches and watched the girls while we ran to the Doctors. Liam was so brave. He was so cute. I was so proud of him. He sat there scared but was determined not to cry. Which he didn't. He is so sweet and special. He then talked the whole time while he was getting the stitches. It was one of the moments as a Mom your heart just melts as you watch your kids and their cuteness. It was so hilarious the things he was talking about. He is like me, when he is nervous he talks, and talks a lot. The Dr. asked him if he could count pretty high for kindergarten. Liam just started counting and counting and counting. Then once he finished that he started counting in Spanish. He then told the Doctor, "I guess this is what happens when you are super fast runner". We made it to the birthday for the last 10 minutes. Liam jumped on the bounce house that whole time. Apparently he was feeling better and his cut was still numb from the shot :). The next Day he registered for kindergarten. Fun for him, not for me. He is more then ready. I am going to miss him. The next day he got stung by a wasp and later lost his first tooth.

He tried so hard not to cry.
I love this boy. He is so sweet and tender. The other day he sat on the bed with Londyn and just talked with her in his cute baby voice. He was completely content. He then sat in sacrament and held her the whole meeting. He has such a soft heart. He is a wonderful brother, son, cousin, friend. How did I get so lucky. Love you sweet boy. Don't grow up too fast :)

Yee-Haw

Josh and I love the rodeo!!! I am forcing that love on my family. The kids loved it. Even Londyn watched. Layla was offended by steer wrestling. I understand. It is mean. She cheers for the little caff and I will admit, so do I.

Pioneer Day

24th of July as always was perfect. I love that we celebrate pioneers!

Lemonade Stand

I hope for my kids childhood to be filled with many wonderful memories. Liam has been asking since spring if he could have a lemonade stand, then thought a banana stand would be great, and the list went on. I promised him that he could do one once his cousins came. He didn't forget. I wanted the kids to do as much prep work as possible. So we decided to make cookies as well. Let me tell you, the combo meal was a success.
Kathryn and Layla took over marketing and went and told everyone in the neighborhood, Bryce was the bouncer (we had him buckled in his high chair to keep him from running off), and Liam ran the business.

Not only was it a great memory for them but it was for me as well. These children are so precious. I love them and watching them figure out life. What a fun day!

Fun in July

My sister Tara and her family came down from Michigan for three whole wonderful weeks. They made it just in time for the 4th of July. We had a wonderful time at my Dads house. I am in love with her and her kids. Derek is a mini Liam. Those two were made for each other. I couldn't get enough of that little boy and how much he reminded me of Liam at two. Basically, PURE boy. All they did was wrestle, dress up like a superhero, and wrestle some more.  I had a lot of fun switching Caleb and Londyn around. They are only a week apart and have the same amount of hair. I would switch blankets and hand them to people to see if they noticed. It was hilarious. My Dad at one point was holding both the babies at once and spent the whole time talking to Londyn as Caleb and Caleb as Londyn. It was great!
Liam and Taryn got asked to help at the puppet show.

Best Friends for life!

The baby swap...

Taryn wanted boots so she found a solution. She made some out of mud.
What a blessing it is for all these cousins to have each other. I admire both my sisters as parents and appreciate all they do as an Aunt. Considering how much time all the kids spent together, they did absolutely amazing.

Berry Pick'n

I love where I live, not only have we picked berries but we have picked apricots, blackberries (Liam got stung AGAIN) and peaches.
