Name That Tune
Liam LOVES to sing. He can pick up on lyrics to a song so quickly. Below are a few of his favorites. I bribed him to do it on camera... One day we will update our computer so I can actually put the video on a post. Until then, scroll down.
Sweet Layla
After Layla had her 4 month shots it is safe to say she had personality change for a little over a week. Sweet, innocent Layla wasn't so sweet and innocent anymore. I even called my Mommy mentour Suzette about the whole ordeal. Luckly, she snapped out of it just as quickly as it happend. PHEW! She is back to her fun, easy going self. She is a night owl and loves to stay awake until midnight and sleep in until noon the next day. She wakes up a few times to eat but then is back to a deep sleep after her feeding. I haven't been able to break her of this habbit. Many of you know I am not a night owl by any means. She is happy as a clam at night. I am sure she will grow out of it... Hopefully. Love you Layla!

Love for Layla
Our sweet Layla is now 4 months old. She had her 4 month check up yesterday and she was pretty emotional last night. I seriously think she cried more last night then she has in whole life. Poor girl. Thank you Mariam for you help! She is in the 70% for height 45% weight and 30% head. She is so darn cute. It is amazing how much you can love a child. We can't picture our lives without her.
Layla, I love:
Your gummy grins and how your whole face lights up
How excited you get when you watch your older brother
What a good baby you are
How quickly you calm down the moment I hold you
Your beautiful blue eys and long lashes
How you snort when you cry
How you snort when you laugh
How strong you are
How you make me a better person
I hope I can make you as happy as you make me. We love you!!!

Our Townhome
We have been thinking of trying to rent our place out for a while now. It's not set in stone so if it doesn't happen, life will go on. We might have the opportunity to get into another property just a few minutes from us now. It could be a good opportunity. So we decided it is worth a try. We love our place now, our ward, and neighbors. There is a good chance we would come back and we will still be so close.

Potty Talk
A few weeks ago Liam decided to poop in the bath. He stands up quickly and says, "A big fish and a baby fish, I want OUT!". I explained to him throughout the day that we do not poop in the bath. I haven't brought it up since then. A few weeks after that happend we went for a walk to the park. As soon as we got there Liam jumped out of the storller, climbed to the highest part of the playground and with both arms in the air yelled, "I POOPED IN THE BATH!". I have never laughed so hard at him. I have no idea where that came from or why he did that. I love being a mom. Who would of ever thought the topic of poop could be so cute/funny.
Fun Around Our House
Lately, I have really appreciated that I have been able to be at home with my two wonderful children. I always have loved it but with everything that is going on in our nation I realized how fortunate I am to still be able to be with our children all day every day. I can't imagine how much I would miss if I wasn't here with them. For example:
The blowing of bubbles

Constant talk, play, and fun revolving around Buzz Light Year (This is what Liam was wearing when I walked into his room)

The tenderness of a slepping baby

Being around a fun loving two year old, who enjoys every little thing about life

Our little piglet with her piglet (those of you who have heard Layla belly laugh understand how well this doll fits her)

I love my life, I love my family. I know work isn't always easy for Josh and it involves a lot of stress and hard work. I have such grattitude for him and that he understands the importance of me being at home. I don't know where the economic state of our country is headed, I hope it will all work out. I am grateful however, that it has helped me realize all of my many blessings. It doesn't matter what we have or want, all that matters is that my children and husband are happy, healthy and feel secure at home in this confused world. I am SO grateful for the gospel and the foundation it gives my life. Never will the teachings lead me in the wrong direction. They will only bring me peace and happiness. I know it is true and we have a Father in Heaven who loves each and everyone of us.

Quick trip to Wyoming
We were able to have a quick trip to Cheyenne this weekend. We loved it! It was so fun to see Cale, Suzette and Brenna. The library down there is amazing!!! We look forward to when Brenna and Layla can interact more and play. Brenna might be the cutes toddler I have ever seen. Not to mention she is over a year and her a Layla are almost the same height. Layla is only in the 60% for height at 3 months. Brenna is so tiny and dalring. We hope to have these fun visits more often!!! We really missed Kempton and Averie.
Art Work
All Bundled up
We took these pictures over a month ago. I thought they looked so cute not to mention Liam was willing to have Layla sit next to him. That doesn't happen often. I took over a dozen pictures and not one had both kids looking at me. I have learned that it will take a miracle. I think they still look darling!!!
