I have a second grader and a Kindergardener! They love school. Layla does so well with a schedule. Although I feel like half day Kindergarden is a bit of a waste. Since they are my sweet kids and this is our family blog I am going to take the time to brag about my smarty pants kids. Also because school was always such a challenge for me I am proud of them. At the same time, I am so grateful now that I can see how much time my Mom had to put into me to just do ok. These kids have it come natural. Homework time is a breeze for me as a Mom and parent teacher conferences. At parent teacher confrence both kids are testing over a grade level ahead in every area. Liam has an incredible memory (like Dad) and Layla is a math wiz and has taught herself how to read. I kid you not. I haven't worked with her. I feel blessed as a Mom and am so grateful they can have the confidence in school that I always struggled with. They do work hard and are extremely responsible. They are certainly eager to learn.
