Build a Bear
Grandma Holly took Londyn to Build Bear for this years gift. Londyn threw a tantrum on her way in not realizing what was in store. She was really wanting Layla's candy and was determined to not go anywhere unless we gave it to her. We didn't which resulted in a tantrum walking in. Luckily, she pulled it together when we got into the store and realized what she was doing. She made a sparkly pink kitty cat. It was a treat!
My Darling Three Year Old
My Dear Londyn,
You have brought such joy into our home in the last three years. Your smile can make anyone smile. How can't it. You are adventurous and love all things girlie. You LOVE to play with friends. You love our cats (the feeling is not at all mutual) and try to sneak them inside constantly. You love to dance, have Layla play preschool, ride your scooter, swim, The Tom and Jerry Show, Cinderella shoes, milk, Liam is your buddy and I am pretty sure you and I are best friends. You love to be "hilarious" and follow up your funny attempts with, "was that so funny?". Like your big sister you know how to stand up for what you want. You are determined and have figured out tantrums. You know how to give the sweetest hugs and kisses. You want to do everything all by yourself. I am pretty sure you and I are made of the same mold. You have brought laughter and joy. I am constantly stopped by EVERYONE and am told how darling you are. It's true you are the cutest. I am pretty smitten with you and it has been a pure joy being your Mom. I love you my sweet girl!
For your Birthday we had your first official birthday party. You understood every bit of it. You wanted a dress up, Minnie Mouse, tea party. That is exactly what we did. Grandma Holly made her delicious and darling cup cakes. She also brought her parachute which worked out perfectly for all the three year olds. Grandma also made a giant cupcake for us to enjoy later that evening with Grandma Dwyla and Grandpa Ed.
You haven't stopped talking about your big day. I get asked frequently by you, "Mom is it almost my Birthday?". One time I told you it was very far away. You replied, "Well let's go and drive there!".
Spring Time Fun
