Christmas in California

We had the opportunity to go and visit Great Grandpa Passow in California. It was so fun to finally meet him. What a wonderful man. Josh's Uncle Tom and wife were there as well they were so much fun and so kind. Then, we went to visit my sister in Pomona who is very close to having a baby girl. Everyone was so kind and we had so much fun. Sadly, Liam wasn't feeling well the whole trip. We cut the trip a few days short and headed back home. I hope he gets feeling well soon. I guess this means we will just have to go back to California real soon. Hopefully, the next time we will go to visit a sweet baby girl and Disney Land!

Happy Birthday Liam!

It was Liams 1st birthday on December 21 and everything went great! It was a cowboy theme with cowboy party hats, decor, and cow print balloons. Liam loved the Balloons more then cake, ice cream, presents, and people. He did great and we had a blast putting everything together. This past year has gone by so quickly. I can't believe he is a toddler. It has been the greatest year of our lives!

Such a Fun Little Guy

Liam continues to change so quickly. He is very determind to do everything on his own. He has always loved books but he will no longer allow us to read to him. He likes to trick us by handing us the book then pulls it away laughing. He requires that we be no where near him but he will sit there and read himself book after book for a good half hour. He turns through the pages saying every word and sound he knows. Throughout the whole story he does the best fake laugh I have ever heard. It is so cute.
He also has a picture of Jesus in his room. We often point to it and tell him it is Jesus. He now thinks any bit of home decor is called Jesus. We were walking through IKEA the other day and all he kept doing was pointing saying, "Jesus". Than the other day Josh walked into the room and Liam screamed in a real confused voice pointing, "JESUS?". It was so cute. It's a start, right?
I can't believe he will be a year old this Friday. It goes by so quickly. We feel so blessed to have such a fun loving son. He always has us laughing. Happy Birthday Liam!

Visit with Santa

We took Liam to meet Santa today for the first time. We didn't think he would be bothered by meeting him. He has always been a very friendly baby. He did fine on Santa's lap as long as he was distracted but the second he would look up and realize who was holding him he would start crying. He wasn't even interested in the rocking horse. He would laugh at Santa from afar but wanted to be no where near him. Maybe next year. We hope Santa understood where Liam was coming from.

*Who eats more? The nursing mom. Josh would have one big meal a day and be content.

*Who is taller? Josh, but I think my hands are bigger :)
*Who sings better? Neither of us. It's pretty bad.
*Who is smarter? Josh is great at organizing, spelling, finishing things, speaking grahmically correct etc. I am better at understanding people, numbers, and health.

*Who does the dishes? I do but Josh will do it if I ask as long as its not pots and pans.

*Who mows the lawn? I have no idea how to even work a lawn mower and would like to keep it that way.
*Who cooks dinner? I do, I have never seen Josh cook a meal.

*Who asked who out? Josh I guess.

*Who is more sensitive? Josh is more sensitive when it comes to him as a person. I am more sensitive towards other people.

*Who has more siblings? He does- 2 brothers, 4 sisters.
*Who wears the pants in the family? We both try to fit into the same pair. It can be pretty funny at times.
