Happy Father's Day!
Josh truly is a remarkable Father. I honestly can say, he is, "The World's Greatest Dad!". He loves being a Dad and it shows. His face lights up when he sees Liam and then the playing begins! His heart aches when Liam is not feeling well, and he misses him when he is asleep (no joke he says it almost every night), I feel so blessed to have his support on my side of the parenting and I know he would do anything for either of us. He always says Liam is his best friend, and I know Josh is Liam's. I am so grateful that Josh loves every aspect of being a father. We love you Josh and Happy Father's Day! Hope you like your shirt (you look great in it) and ladder.

I am so grateful for my Dad and all that he does for us. Liam adores him and I love how involved he is as a Grandpa. The greatest blessing for us moving here is the way my relationship has grown with my Dad. I look forward to seeing him and visiting with him. He has become one of my best friends and role models. He does anything and everything for his girls and grandbabies. We love you Grandpa!!!

Parenting Question
My child has started to refuse to take naps. He is 17 months old so I am sure he still needs them. Not to mention he doesn't go to bed until 10pm and he wakes up around 8am. It started Sunday when we had him skip his nap because we had church from 1-4. Any suggestions??? I really count on naptime to get things done. Is this normal? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks Rachaaeel!!!

Great News
Tonight was a huge night in our home. Liam used his potty all on his own. I bought one a while back because everytime Liam would have his diaper off he would go number one or in Liam's words "PI-PI" it sounds like pee-pee but with a french accent. Also, several times when his pants were lose enough I would lay him down for his nap and he would take of his pants followed by his diaper and go number 2 in the corner. Than go to the opposite side and scream bloody murder. You would of thought there was a dangerous spider in his bed.
So, I decided it was time to make the purchase and let him use it as he pleased. I didn't want to push it though because he still is so young. Well tonight we got him undressed to go in the bath and he wanted to sit on his potty so I let him. He went! Granted, it was just a little bit and he wasn't sitting all the way back so went down his leg but it was fabulous!!! I was so excited he just kept standing up and sitting back down with a huge grin on his face! Great job Liam.

Having Fun!
The rocking horse is clearly still a hit in our home. Liam's new thing is to live a little on the wild side and hold up hands for different adventures. From his three wheeler, to swinging on swings (that really scared us and him he almost fell out), he throws up his hands for a bit of rush and gets a kick out of it as well. He continues to grow so big and strong. He learns new things every day. He LOVES sports. He begs for me to turn on the TV so he can watch fo-ball or ba-ball (football or basketball). He spends most his day playing with his adult size football which he tackles, his little tykes basketball hoop or his newest toy tee-ball. He also looks outside every night for the, "MOO" aka moon. He is amazed by it.
Liam did the cutest thing this morning, I woke up before him and got ready and put in a headband. I went in to his room when he woke up the first thing he said to me was, "Nice Hat!". It was so cute because we always say that to him every time he wears a hat. He was so excited to see Mommy wearing a hat.
He is all boy and still has his same low voice. It cracks me up along with other people. You can kind of get a feel for it in the video. Recently he has really started to cuddle, we love it! He will just walk up and hug me in the middle of playing. That is the greatest feeling in the world! We love you Liam and thanks for making our lives complete!

Happy Mother's Day!

I feel really selfish for not even mentioning my Mom or Mother-in-Law in the last post. They both are amazing Grandmas, Moms and friends. I can't Picture my Life without either one.
My Mom has taught me so much about life. The greatest lesson I have ever learned from her is optimism. She is such a positive person with nice things to say about everyone. I hope to set the same example for my kids. It is such a relief to be around and she has made my life that much more simple by not making things a huge deal. Life if life, she takes lemons and makes lemonade. My favorite memory with my Mom is our horseback trip up in Gunnison. I loved having the one on one time with my mom. She has always been a best friend to me and I always knew she would love me no matter what, which gave me much confidence as child and adult. I love you Mom!
Dwyla, has always been so kind to me. I admire her willingness to serve not only her family but people in need. She is an amazingly strong person full of faith. She remembers everyone's birthday and puts so much thought into everything she does. My favorite memory with her is when we went to Women's Conference. It will be something I will never forget. Thanks for you’re your example and being a great Mom and Friend!
Please share some of your favorite memories of either Mom. It is fun to hear!

Whats new???

The good news is, I am feeling so much better! Not great but better. I even get ready and go walking.
Liam has been such a joy lately. Here are some funny Liam stories:
Liam's latest is barking at the people who walk by the front of our home. He hears Daisy do it and he thinks it is funny.
He loves, "ANDY" aka candy. The problem is he has never really had real candy. Yogo's is the closest thing. When he does have candy we are sure it will blow his mind.
He calls ice cream, "OHH MAN!” I wonder if he will ever forget his broken ice cream cone on the sidewalk. Poor kid.
He sure does love his Grandpa Jeff. He has a picture book and always points the picture of the man and calls it, "GRAMPA". The funny thing is the guy actually looks a little like his Grandpa. The other day Grandpa took him on a walk while I had a meeting for church. When he went to leave Liam was reaching for him saying, "Grampa, Grampa, Grampa". Thank goodness he lives so close and we can see him often. The picture I included is from their walk earlier this week.
Liam loves animals, basketball, football, and his three-wheeler. That is pretty much what our day consists of. Plus a lot of food. He is a great eater! We love you Liam!
Mothers Day was a blast. Josh made waffles from scratch, spaghetti, cleaned the bathrooms, and even went shopping with me!!! It was fabulous. He may not like holidays or birthdays but I sure do. Great job Josh. I love you and appreciate all your help.
