Hiiii-Ya, Was Up, and To The Rescue

Liam choose his costume. I didn't know what he was going to be until the day of. It came down to Ninja. He came out of the play clothes ready to go. Layla wanted to be a scarey witch. I tried to do scarey make up but realized she just looked like a "gangsta" witch. She liked it. Londyn was Wonder Woman being the wonderful baby she is. We went started out the day before going to Josh's big work party. By BIG work party I mean huge... They spent $11,000 on candy and each division is given $4000 for their theme. It is good, like Disney Land good. Not to mention its the good candy. So ate A LOT after not have sugar for a while... Which resulted in me being crabby and my skin not looking it's best. Why do I do that? Serious? So I stopped and everything is back to normal. The kids had a blast. I did too :)

Funny Stuff

Liam is full of facts. Lately he has been talking a lot about Republicans and Democrats. He called my Mom to let her know he is a Republican. She asked why, he responded with, "I believe in God and family, I like strong soldiers, and I also believe the earth is round and gravity holds us to it while the earth rotates."
The other morning we were running out the door to church. Josh told me I looked pretty. It made me smile. It did not make Layla smile. All we heard was her yelling, "DAD, DAD, DAD why do you think Mom looks pretty and not me!" we tried to explain on the way to church that he had also told her earlier she looked pretty. She didn't care. It was not good enough. She argued with us the whole way to church and walking into church.
Layla loves to play with the dog. She always laughs and says, "Ohhhh gurl (girl)!"
Liam calls Josh, "Big fella!"

Tantrum 101

I was pretty impressed with this contraption, it read:

"I am sorry"

"I love you, I hope you forgive me"
I have decided tantrums are linked to three things in this house. First lack of sleep, second blood sugar levels and lastly observation. Liam's tantrums are more a result of the third and Layla's are the first two. Londyn is trying to avoid all three (sweet girl). Liam threw a tantrum the other day which never happens. It was so out of character. He always feels a huge amount of guilt after. He was in his room for a long time crying and apologizing. Then it was quiet. He called me over and told me to look in the hall and this is what I found. It melted my heart. I am not going to lie, it made this tantrum worth it.

Pumpkin Patch

"What is this stuff?"

"It tickles my hands"

"yup, I like it!"

Never with out a smile

Love his missing teeth

Loving School

Layla LOVES preschool. She LOVES homework and she LOVES field trips

Liam has homework every night. Layla gets very upset if she doesn't have homework as well. I have figured out when I tell Liam it is time to do homework, I also need to have something ready for Layla. Liam complains Layla say's "Yes!".

Londyn Baby

These last 5 months have been pure joy with this sweet little angel. I can't get enough of her and her darling personality. She loves to be standing (with my help) or sitting straight up where she can see everything going on. She LOVES watching her brother and sister play. The louder and more silly they get the more she squeals and belly laughs. It melts my heart to see how sweet and pure she is. It seems everyone can't resist this little girl. Her favorites right now are her exersuacer, putting everything in her mouth, sitting straight up, being outside, her Daddy's voice, Eskimo kisses from her Mommy and I will proudly admit she is a total Mama's girl. I am flattered. Her least favorites at the moment are tummy time and time on her back. She also gets very upset if she can't sleep. She loves it and having two busy older siblings she isn't able to have the schedule she would love. I finally have a kid who enjoys to sleep and am not able to offer the opportunity :) I am just grateful she is still so pleasant without a very consistent schedule.
Londyn, you have blessed our lives in such a way that can't be put into words. The joy you bring to our family is far beyond what I could have imagined. I miss you when you are asleep. You remind me every day what an honor it is to be a Mother and most of all your Mother. Thank you for being so delightful. You make this whole baby thing look like a piece of cake. Thank you sweet girl. I love you more then words can say and can't picture life with out you.

Cornbelly's

We did our yearly visit to Cornbelly's that our kids talk about all year. Each year Cornbelly's seems to have more and more to offer. We are never disappointed.

Saint George General Conference

My Vacation baby in her Vacation Attire
Everyone LOVES General Confernce. You can grow so much as a person over this weekend. These Men and Woman truely are inspired to say and share the things they do. This fall we enjoyed it in Sunny Saint George. What a beautiful setting for a wonderful conference. Feel free to click on the link above to see what all this conference talk is about :) You wont be dissapointed.

Temple 2012

We did our yearly FHE (family home evening) at the Temple. We have a picnic right outside and then go and walk around the grounds. It was a wonderful place to be with our family and April's family. Having a young family, a baby, and nursing makes it hard to visit as often as I would like. I am grateful for opportunities like these to share with my children. It was Londyn's first trip. That made it even more special. They recognize the beauty on the outside and the beauty of the purpose of the Temple far exceeds that which we can see. How blessed we are to have so many Temples this day in age. I wish the whole world could understand what a piece of Heaven the Temple really is. I strongly encourage those not of my faith to go to a Temple open house if you ever have the chance. The friends we have taken really enjoyed it. So will you! I love to see the Temple.

Great first impression. I LOVE HER!

She reminds me so much of Liam in this Picture

There Is Beauty ALL Around

Best Friends

Liam took being an explorer very seriously (his idea and his own pose). I asked him if he knew the names of any explorers. He responded, "No I don't think so, well actually I do know of Dora!"

I love the fall. I love it, love it, love it! Being a Colorado Native, I have always been so strongly opionated nothing compares to the Colorado Mountains. I am starting to realize there are plenty other places that can compare. To top it off it isn't as busy with people. Our friends the Byers told us of a hike up Payson Canyon called the Grotto. I was all over that idea and Josh went along with it. It was such a blast and BEAUTIFUL this time of year. It was a sea of colors, the weather was just right. Something about being surronded by the beauty of the earth is so refreshing and a great way to remember how amazing our Creater really is. So blessed.
