Schools Out... Sorry Bryce

At the Autism conference they talked about how communication in general is only 12% verbal. The rest is body language, mannerism etc... Bryce may not speak but we know he really misses school. This is how he sleeps at night :) What a cutie!

Why I Love My Life

Londyn White Perriton

I am so in love with our little Londyn who arrived on Monday May 7, 2012 at 12:17 pm. She was 19 inches long and weighed 6 lbs 13 oz. I went in to be induced at 9:30am. Of course I didn't sleep because I was so anxious to meet our little girl the night before. We finally arrived. Got checked in, had a wonderful nurse and the Dr was there. A little before 11 the Dr. broke my water and the nurse started me on a tiny bit of patocin to make sure me or Londyn did not have a reaction to it. She checked me and I was at a 4 which I figured because I was close to that at my check up a few days prior. I asked for the epidural as soon as I could. He came and gave it to me. During the next 20-30 minutes, I was feeling a ton of pressure and pain. Darn this epidural, it worked but not good enough. But maybe that was a good thing. It got so bad that I asked Josh to go get the nurse. I told her I was feeling a lot of pain. She mentioned I could push the button to make the epidural work more but that could take 20-25 minutes. I pushed it alright :) I then mentioned again I was feeling a lot of pressure. She said she would check me even though she wasn't going to for an hour. Sure enough I was already at a 10.... In 30 minutes. That would explain everything :) My Mom was the same way with her labors. Which is why when my Mom had me I was born with out a Dr. I hurried and called my Mom and Sister to come. The Dr. was paged and about 30 minutes later our little Londyn was here. Everyone made it. It was an amazing moment and Londyn came out screaming. Josh was AMAZING. I could see how nervous he was the second he found out I was already at a 10. He just stood there rocking back and forth and said he can do this. He was going to no matter how nauseous he was going to get. Luckily he was able to relieved from that duty when my Mom and Sister came running in. He then was able to go my up to the head of the bed where he is most comfortable. Londyn came and it was such a happy emotional moment. I did it. She was here, she was crying, she was perfect, and she was WAY smaller then Liam and Layla :) I can honestly say the happiest moments of my life are when I am labor and the moment my sweet little children enter this world. It can not be put into words how amazing it is. What a gift it is to have children. I know there is no greater blessing.
I can not begin to describe what a sweet, sweet, spirit this little angel has. She tries so hard not to cry and just has a little frown when her tummy hurts. She lets out an occasional high pitch squeal. She is so content. How can you love something so tiny so quickly. Our family would do anything for this little peanut. She means the world to us. I can't believe that a year ago I was recovering from my tonsil and sinus surgery.  I remember crying and praying that all the pain and discomfort I had been feeling for the year prior would be gone. That the surgery would work. At the time I felt an overwhelming peace that everything would be fine. That I would be a Mom again and my health would return to allow me to do so. I also had a strong feeling at thr 4th of July, 2011 when I was starting to feel back to normal that the next year I would be holding a little baby. I know that our Father in Heaven hears and answers prayers. That he has a plan for each of us. There is no doubt this pregnancy was by far my easiest, the recovery thus far has been amazing. I thank Londyn for coming into our family when she did. She is straight from Heaven and brings that sweet spirit into our home. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Londyn. I love you more then words can say.

Frog Grandpa and Grandma Denise get Hitched

On May 5, 2012 my Dad married Denise. It was a beautiful day. The feeling there was so wonderful. I am sure that is because she is WONDERFUL! What a breath of fresh air. The Grandkids all adore her along with my sisters and I. To top it off her family is so down to earth and wonderful.

Caleb McIlmoil

My wonderful little sister and her hubby welcomed Caleb McIlmoil on April 30, 2012. He was blessed into a very loving home. My sister has this parenting thing figured out! I can't wait to meet him :) His Daddy got to deliver him.

Autism Conference

I was fortunate enough to be able to attend a Autism Conference with my sister and a few friends at UVU a few weeks ago. It was a great opportunity and I learned so much. I can't say this enough but these ladies truly are AMAZING! The most amazing Mom's out there. No joke. They know what it means to be a Mom and I admire them more then words can say. I wish I could do so much more to help them and all of their challenges of being a Mom of Autistic child. I am here to help. It was great to educate myself on ASD. I hope more people can come to understand the disease. I saw a shirt for Bryce I am going to get April. It said, "Be nice to my Mom, I have Autism!". So many people are very understanding of our sweet little Bryce but I often see her get looks when we are out in public. It breaks my heart. They have no idea what it is like. These woman are AMAZING! I couldn't wait for the conference to be over and go see little Bryce. He is so, so, so, so special! Love you Moms of Autism and love you little Bryce.
Thank you Samantha for babysitting so I could have this little break before the baby comes. You are the best :)

What's Happening

Our life has been crazy. Seems like there is never a moment to just sit. I prefer it that way as I am approaching the last few weeks of pregnancy. Please hurry. First things first. Something happens to a Mother when she is approaching 30 and is on her way to having her third child. You suddenly realize that convenience is much more important then lets says image. We sold "Vixon" our Honda Pilot. I am proud to announce I now own a Honda Odyssey. It is the best car ever. I am so pleased with my new van. Josh is as well. My kids can climb in out so gracefully :) The doors open and close by a push of a button. When the sun hits it, it sparkles. Liam has named the new car fun, fun, fun. We tried to talk him out of it but he was very upset. So fun, fun, fun it is.
Liam has started reading so well. I have been working with him and he has just taken off. He should be plenty ready for kindergarten. He is sweet as can be and can not wait for baby Londyn to come. He seriously is the easiest kid. He eats well, he tries so hard to do what is right, and he says the funniest things. He loves his family and we love him.
Layla has surprised us with her smarts as well. The other day she came over to me and had written her first and LAST name all by herself. No joke. She continued to write Mom, Liam, and EAE for Dad :). She has been paying close attention to when we are working with Liam. She now does it daily. She can count perfectly to 30. She loves to fold towels and play with her Daddy and Brother. She loves telling everyone her knock, knock joke. It goes like this... Layla:"Knock, Knock" the obvious, "Who is there?" Layla (yelling):"Oh I can't hear you I have a banana in my ear!". I have no idea where she heard this our what it means but it might be the most darling thing ever! She is so cute and I can not wait to have another girl running around :)
Josh got a different position at work. I am so proud of him. He deserves it. They will not find a better worker. He has been assigned the territory of New York. I am so proud and what a great territory to have with such a great company. We certainly see the Lord's hand in our lives.
As for me. I am so grateful to of had this pregnancy go as smoothly as it has. The first trimester was the hardest but my second and third have by far been my easiest. I feel so much better then I did a year and half ago. This would of felt wonderful back then. I am starting to notice the pregnancy puff and feeling out of breath. But, when you have a life to live and two kids to take care of those symptoms get pushed under the rug. I will admit, I can't wait for these next few weeks to be over. Please hurry.
Speaking of baby we have two new nieces,
Adri Anne Neumann, 6 Ibs 11 oz

Meet Kinlee Belen Perriton, 7 lbs 4 oz.

You can imagine how baby hungry I am after seeing these two darling little girls. I can't wait for Londyn to meet them. To top it off Tara's baby is due three days prior to my due date. Baby, baby, baby!

Why I Do, What I Do

As many of you know there has been a lot said in the media recently about a political figures wife never working a day in life because she is/was a stay at home Mom. This woman raised 5 boys. My jaw dropped when I heard this. I want to be respectful to all woman, woman who are working Mom's whether it be by choice or circumstance and Mom's like me who choose this as a full time profession. We all are Mom's and have one thing in common, we love our children with all our heart. They are, our heart. As parents we are able to see what is best for OUR children. As a parent I believe we are inspired to know what is best for our family. I never doubted that I wanted to be a stay at home Mom. As long as our situation will allow it. With that comes obvious sacrifice, one of the larger being living on one income. Being a full time Mom, means I give up a fancy title and paycheck. So why would I see it necessary? It's simple we are a family and my kids are kids who need their Mom. I do not know another job that can teach me to be more Christ like then mine now. I have learned patience, I honestly know what it means to be selfless, I have learned to set aside the flashy things of this world and instead focus on being there for my children around the clock. My resume is small, what sums up my work experience is daycare worker, nanny, and preschool teacher. If I was to ever pursue a career other then mine now it would be a child psychologist. I love children. After being in those settings prior to my own journey in parenthood, I knew with out a doubt I wanted to be the one raising my children. Teaching them my morals and what our purpose on this earth is. To love and respect one another, to create a strong family unit, to give them the happy and safe environment they deserve, to become as Christlike as possible, to have self control, to do all we can so we can return to live with our Father in Heaven. Nothing makes me happier then when I am with my family. When I see my kids laughing and playing. When I am with my sisters. When I visit with my parents and in-laws. I don't want to miss a moment of any of this. The reality is most my day is spent picking up after my children often time the same mess over and over, teaching them to be kind to one another, practicing reading and writing. trips to the library and park. crafts, more messes, helping a friend, laundry and for some reason I swear our bathroom needs to be cleaned through out the whole week. Is my life repetitive, yes very :) I think many people picture my life as a stay at home Mom, involving a lot of TV and pajamas. If I wanted to make my job more simple I could attempt to have that the case. But then my kids wouldn't be getting the love and attention they deserve. I can make it is as easy or hard as I want, I choose hard because I am here to work and it is what is rewarding. The crazy part, I still don't have the time to make my house spotless. The job is never ending.I live in a small little town, much different from where I was raised. I am surrounded by animals and fruit trees. For the most part I am surrounded by Moms who are also working hard as a full time Mom. I don't have to defend my choice as a stay at home Mom because for the most part it is a very respected role in my conservative little community. I am surrounded by wonderful children and parents. Tonight some little girls across the street made me a treat and brought it by. They didn't need to. I am sure they have seen their Mothers do the same. Where I live is like stepping back 50 years. The second the whether is nice I see multiple lemonade stands. Kids riding bikes, families going for walks, you know everyone of your neighbors. I am right where I am suppose to be and I love it. I love my husband for seeing the importance of this work I am doing. It was something we discussed prior to being married. His Mom knows what it means to work. She raised 7 wonderful children. All of which are outstanding adults contributing to society, they are honest in their dealings, they are kind and respectful to everyone they come across and they are selfless. My job is far from easy. I have had my moments where I feel like I am not capable of such a task. Then I reminded of my purpose on this earth when I see my two sweet children hug me or thank me. I am here to be a Mom and there is no better title out there. I can't wait to introduce sweet little Londyn into our family. My work I am sure just tripled. I am sure I will not sleep through the night for a few more years. I am sure my body will not be the exact same. But, I can't wait to have her here. I can't wait to see her first smile. I can't wait to see Liam and Layla hold her and love her. I can't wait to see my sweet niece Kathryn with her. I can't wait to have the innocence of a baby in our home again. That sweet spirit when a baby comes home can't be put into words. They are so pure. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Liam, Layla and Londyn for the honor of being your Mom. There isn't a better job title out there. I love you all so, so, so, so much!

Easter With The Fam

We enjoyed our last Easter at my Dad's house :( It is looking like he sold it. We will miss how beautiful the lot is. Denise made a wonderful dinner and we all helped. It was great. My Mom was also able to come down and spend Easter with her Grand kids as well. We really missed Tara and her family.
Easter is such a wonderful time to reflect on our savior his resurrection. I have a strong testimony of this. It is also very hilarious hearing a 5 and 3 year old explain this to me. I am shocked at what they are able to understand. I love my children I love my life. Holidays are a wonderful time to celebrate that we are a family and make wonderful memories. Happy Easter!

Awful picture, I know. The pregnancy puff has begun :(

Layla say's Bryce is her best friend. She thinks he is so funny and spends a lot of time pushing him on the swing :)

Love me some Bells

The Bells were able to come and hang for the weekend the last bit of march. As always it was a blast! Such good people with great kids. It was so fun to meet little Taylin. She is just as darling as can be. We kept it simple but still had a blast. We were able to go to an Autism event which was a lot of fun. Let me just say there is something so special about children with autism and something very special about their parents. On Kathryn's birthday we took her and met up with the other cousins at Thanksgiving point and enjoyed some horse back riding and all the animals. We had to throw in some ice cream as well. Thanks for the visit Summer and hope to see you again soon :)

Birthday Girl

Yes, Layla is on a MINIATURE horse. My dream :)
