Disney On Ice

Our friends Camille and Nikki invited us to join them for Disneh on ice. Layla after a few minutes looked and me and said, "Mom this is a dream come true". It was so special to see how magical it was for her. She was such a sweetie and treasured every moment. Thank you for the invite!!!

I had major flash backs to the first part of our marriage and skiing. It has been over nine years and for my birthday Mom took the kids and Josh took me to the slopes. It felt like home!

People Are Good

The other day we went to the shoe store to get Liam some shoes. Londyn found a pair she loved. Glitter, hot pink Jellies which light up. I couldn't justify buying them so I made her put them back. As Londyn seems to like to do (all day every day) she put up a fight. A big fight. Her heart was broken and the screaming began. I apologized to those around me and wrestled her out of the store. Moments later the worker came running out and handed Londyn the shoes. A lady in shoe store saw how sad Londyn was and purchased them for her. It was so kind and thoughtful. I am so grateful my children can see others serving others. It meant a lot. Every time i look at those shoes I smile.

Baptism Day

Liam is so special, sweet and kind. We love him and are proud of his choice to be baptized. He is a great strength to our family. Love you sweet boy.

Big Foot

Big foot has always been a minor celebrity around our house. It was no surprise that a Mapleton Big Foot club has been organized. We even have big foot cookies and aunts on a log. Big foot is attracted to peanut butter. Kids come with very interesting facts to share. Unfortunately, I am not allowed because I am a non-beliver.
